Wayne County Schools - Delegations

Persons desiring to address the Board of Education are welcome and they are encouraged to make arrangements in advance with the Superintendent or the President of the Board. However, advance arrangements are not mandatory, as such person may sign in prior to the scheduled commencement of any regular meeting.

Any person desiring to speak shall provide: (1) his/her name; (2) mailing address; (3) group affiliation (if any); (4) the topic/item to be addressed; and (5) whether the topic has been discussed with the Principal, Director and/or Superintendent.

Presentations shall be limited to five minutes per delegation and to a total of thirty minutes for all delegations, unless otherwise authorized by a majority of the Board.

Wayne County Board of Education Policy 169.1 provides for "Public Participation at Board Meetings," and the entire policy can be viewed by using the drop-down tab for Board Policies on this website.
